Welcome to my website!
My fascination with photography started years ago but was first sparked while pursuing my graphic design degree. Back then photography was all about film and I had to borrow my dad's old 35mm. Once out of school the first job I held was an assistant for a local photographer. I was in control of bounce boards, helped with posing and film developing. We did a lot of commercial as well as model shoots, all around just fun. However, I didn't know quite yet that photography was where I was meant to be. So, over the next gazillion years, I went back to school, got married, became a nail technician, started a family, became muralist then a photo restorer and bam that's where it hit me. Everything at this point was digital and to be able to manipulate my photographs or restoration projects was amazing! I loved loved LOVED everything about it! So, while restoring photographs, my clients started asking me if I " shoot photography". Needless to say, the rest is history. To be asked to be a part in documenting someone's life events is truly an honor and tremendously addictive. I find no greater joy as a professional then seeing the emotions exchanged on wedding days, from the groom's first glance of his bride to the parent's teary eye's. The unfolding of these stories that I am honored to capture and forever document as legacy to be shared and passed down to generations is the passion and drive that makes me want to keep picking up my camera.
Aside from my event and restoration work, I'm an active volunteer member of a worldwide organization known as
Operation Photo Rescue (OPR) which specializes in restoring damaged photographs for persons devastated by natural disasters. Other charities I've donate my profession too are: March of Dimes and Queen of Peace Center. In 2011, I was honored by the company,
Zenfolio to showcase my photography website along with a select group of peers on the cover of their marketing brochure. In 2012, I became the photographer for annual Million Minor March which is celebrated downtown St. Louis. Companies as of late that I've been commissioned for are Reuther Automotive, Plaza Motors of St. Louis Range Rover, Jaguar, BMW and Mercedes as well as Hot Rod Cookers of St. Louis, Jai Transforme Salon and Auto Dent Repair.
Thanks for meeting me and I hope I have the pleasure with getting to know you and starting your legacy.
